I have just finished redrawing the 107/2 cabinet, but am missing the bolt pattern for mounting the B250. Would anybody have them?
Can anyone confirm the bass port size at 4" / 102mm ?
Thanks in advance

It seems that the only specs available are for drivers that Kef sold in the Construction Series.

So. If anybody has specs on the Kef 107/2's B250 sp1215 driver, I'll be interested.
- Mounting dimensions
- The actual volume of the speaker.
TIA

It's an in-house, OEM only drive unit. I don't think anything was ever published. You'll have to hope that some documentation from a keen owner or ex-owner comes to light but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
The motor (magnet and voice coil) are virtually the same as the B300, so, using the same Bl and allowing for the smaller area and some guess-timate of moving mass, it is theoretically possible to calculate Qe, Qe and Qt. My brain hurts now - I'll have to have a lie down. |
