Hi All,
Cutting to the chase, I don't want to try and renovate my 105 myself.
They are too precious to me and although I have done a little soldering in the past (replacing some tweeters on a pair of TDL Monitors), I want a professional result with no mistakes.
I've read plenty of advice on here and elsewhere over the last few years (despite not being much of a poster). I'm looking for someone or a business that knows what they are doing to give these fine speakers an overhaul.
I'd like a full recap of bass and mid/high crossovers, and a checkover. I'd love to reveneer the bass boxes too. I have thought of external crossovers for the heads...even a respray of the head units would probably be great.
Does anyone know of any companies in the UK that do this that are reputable and reliable?
Wilmslow Audio used to be well-thought of but I hear a lot of naysayers these days- does anyone have a different opinion?
Ideas welcome!
