I am new member and have also posted question on KEF R101 = I also have Monitor Audio MA series 1
My question is - is this a good speaker - is it worth renewing the crossover components - I do not have schematics - I know the late Colin R had details - but is it worth it - as I understand the resistors were wired in sequence with the B139 which is not good practice as it causes overheating - why then does great speaker maker do this silly thing - anyway are these speakers worth reworking crossover and if so who knows the values and who can do it - I can't solder because my hands shake.
Kind regards,
Mr Quackers. |
