|
|
Hello,
Has anyone had a chance to do a direct comparison of the Linn Kan and Harbeth HL-P3? I know the Harbeth's well, having owned several pairs, but I have never heard the Kan's. Just wondering if the two have more in common than not.
The HL-P3's, while scarce, seem to be going for an exorbitant amount of money these days, while the Kan's are more reasonably priced.
I'm not looking for a speaker that sounds like the HL-P3, just looking for a good quality small stander to enjoy from time to time, and that won't break the bank. Will the Kan fit the bill?
Thanks for your comments.

I have always found the Kans rather crude and brash.
On a 1st hearing they might impress some...
MK1s were possibly more 'musical' than the ones which followed, MKVs to my ears were dreadful.
Stick with a modern loudspeaker, Harbeth is a wise choice! _________________ I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a

Thank you! Harbeth a much underestimated and sadly unknown loudspeaker. Very few of my Hi-Fi buddies have heard of Harbeth, sad... _________________ I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a
