Looks like I'll have to admit to divided loyalties here!
For the past 3 or so years I've been using 3 way SEAS vintage acoustic suspension speakers, like the KK3, made from a kit. (not by me)
To be honest, I tend to prefer them over the KEFs, possibly showing a bias towards sealed speakers.

Anyway, when I saw the CS7's I thought it would be the perfect op to find out so when I finally complete their restoration the test will begin.
SEAS twin 10" woofers vs single KEF, maybe offset by the 50Kg mass of the KEFs vs duh... don't know what the SEAS weigh but it's probably around the 30-35 mark.
Anyone care to hazard a guess on the outcome?
I think I want the KEFs maybe because of the solid Huon Pine....it's just such a niche item here in Tassie and getting almost impossible to source.
That's my winter project taken care of. Very Happy
