I'm loving my 105.3 with valve amplification. Everywhere you see "you'll need 3Kw transistor amplification to drive them", nope 35W is plenty - and i'm not using anywhere near all of that.

Lovely - just wanted to say.

I have a KUBE 200, just not felt the need to use it.

I think Kef used to say 50W min but frankly they were very efficient at 93dB/Watt and an easy load, so I'm not surprised, particularly if you have a 4 ohm tap on your output.

Yep, 4 Ohm tap from my Primaluna amp. I've been playing with the amount of toe in and i think i've got a good compromise at around 6 degrees. Imaging is stunning, listening at low levels produces a lovely listening experience.

@Speakerguru - and to top it off, the rosewood finish is stunning!

No. I did not do much work on that design. I was working on Kubes and the Professional Series at that time, I think.

Imaging is very dependent on nearby reflecting surfaces at the sides (as well as the recordings and mixing, of course). Glad you're getting good results.
